I Have A Gift is a registered charity with a mission to empower young people to harness their gifts and achieve more regardless of their circumstances and provides empowerment and self-development workshops to underprivileged youths. They work with local community clubs and schools.
Details of the Project
Foundations for the Future – This Pilot Mentoring & Personal Development Programme will provide 1:1 mentoring sessions and group mentoring, along with access to tailored online personal development resources, for girls aged 16–18 (Year 11 and/or Sixth Form). The programme will integrate both mentoring and coaching principles to support students through key transition points in their education, build confidence, and help them make clearer decisions about next steps.
There is a need for this project because transition periods in Year 11 and Sixth Form can often be overwhelming with students having limited confidence in decision-making, and experiencing a lack of accessible, reflective personalised support. With our funding, we hope to rectify this for girls in Willowfield School in Waltham Forest, who have a 31.5% FSM percentage
