Details of the Project
The project that we are supporting aims to work directly with 20 girls aged 14-17 to design a qualification called ‘Youth Voices Consultancy Skills.’ This will involve weekly meetings to explore the idea of young people as youth consultants on issues that affect them, their peers and their communities. With 1-2-1 mentoring to support personal development, they will work on project management skills, communication skills and increasing their confidence and self-esteem. The qualification design can be added to their CV to enhance their own job opportunities as well as it becoming an accredited qualification that will be offered out within the community.
